VENICE

Venice is a city in northeastern Italy sited on a group of 117 small islands separated by canals and linked by bridges. It is located in the marshy Venetian Lagoon which stretches along the shoreline, between the mouths of the Po and the Piave Rivers.

The city in its entirety is listed as a World Heritage Site, along with its lagoon. Venice is considered one of the most beautiful cities in the entire world, a place where history is so layered and 'focused' to involve every single stone that composes it.

Venice is an incredibly rewarding city: you can visit the great famous places such as Piazza San Marco and the Rialto Bridge, get lost to the streets (calli), discover the most isolated areas, look in the apparently anonymous nooks for remains, bas-reliefs and inscriptions that tell centuries and past events.

Venice is only 105 km from the Tre Moschettieri Camping Village and it is easily reachable by car or by bus. Moreover, there are several ways to discover the magic atmosphere of the city, for example by boat from Chioggia.
